Family Remittances

This product is provided in the Costa Rica area, and gives the consumer the opportunity to send a remittance of money to different destinations abroad: Nicaragua, Colombia, Peru, Dominican Republic, to mention the main ones, but TELEDOLAR sends money to everything Latin America and some European destinations. These remittances are paid in their different destinations both in dollars and national currency, depending on the service requested. TELEDOLAR pays family remittances in both Costa Rica and Nicaragua. We receive remittances mainly from the United States and from other countries such as Colombia, Peru and regions of Europe. We have alliances of more than 30 remittance companies. The remittance payment service is given in both dollars and colones, and we offer payment through the window, deposit on account or through our Monis App. We are exclusive representatives of the payment of remittances through the window of the National Bank of Costa Rica.

ADA (Direct Debit Account)

Teledolar also offers an ADA solution (Authorization of Automatic Debits.) Known also as direct debit, the service allows customers of a business or company to make scheduled payments by automatically debiting of their bank account.

Teledolar, tapping into its extensive experience in cross-border payments, has created a platform allowing banks and financial institutions secure access to modern banking channels.

Traditional global payment strategies can involve several actors and intermediaries, along with rigid processes instituted by correspondent banks abroad. The operation becomes complex, slow which sometimes makes the operation become somewhat complex, protracted and without exact delivery confirmation. Additionally, these intermediary banks often apply extra fees that had not been announced to the sending client, along with no guarantee that the exchange rate at time of transfer is the same as that paid in the local currency of the destination country.
